Baked Brie in Puff Pastry with Gus & Grey Notorious F.I.G. Jam
Makes 8-10 servings
1 sheet pre-made puff pastry like Pepperidge Farms, thawed
1 8oz wheel of Brie
1 tablespoon water
-Preheat oven to 400°F. Unfold puff pastry sheet onto lightly floured surface. Place the cheese in the center and top with Gus & Grey Notorious F.I.G. Jam.
-Fold edges of pastry over to cover the cheese and the jam. Trim the edges and reserve these pieces for decoration.
-Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork or whisk. Brush the seam of the puff pastry with the egg wash. Place seam side down in a baking dish. Use the edges from the puff pastry to decorate the top of the wheel. Brush the entire surface with the egg wash when complete.
-Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 20 minutes before serving (if you can wait that long!)
