Due Cellucci Tomato Sauces
Due Cellucci Tomato Sauces are all natural and made in small batches from real, whole foods. Growing up as part of a restaurant family, Stefanie Bhalla has always been surrounded by delicious food. She and her younger brother, Enzo, would often visit their father, Chef Enzo, in the kitchen of his Connecticut restaurant. Young Enzo always had a plan to ‘spread the love’ by sharing his family’s sauces with others. Sadly, Enzo lost his battle with Leukemia in 2003. Stefanie took over her brother’s dream of passing along their family sauces and Due Cellucci was born. Due Cellucci(Dew-eh Cheh-lou chee!) means two little birds and in addition to recognizing the family’s hometown of Villa Santa Maria in Italy, also represents Stefanie’s two sons. In honor of young Enzo, a portion of the proceeds from each jar of Due Cellucci will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
I was introduced to Due Cellucci at a Moms in Training Event. Moms in Training is a program I am involved in. It is a group run by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where moms train together to run races in New York’s Central Park. When I heard about Stefanie’s sauces and their connection to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, I knew it was a product I wanted as part of the marketplace. I feel great about using these sauces. Not only am I spreading love to my family by serving a delicious meal but I am supporting a bigger cause in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
