EssieSpice Coco-for-Garlic Pizza
From www.essiespice.com
Makes 2 Servings
Ingredients:
Pizza dough from Pillsbury; thin crust or artisan crust
3 stalks asparagus, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons EssieSpice Coco-For-Garlic Sauce
A few sweetheart grape tomatoes
5 thin slices mozzarella
1 teaspoon olive oil
Method:
-Preheat your charcoal grill outside to medium high heat so there are not as many lit coals so the crust doesn’t burn. If you are using your oven, preheat to a temperature of 450-480°F.
-Make sure your grill is lightly oiled so pizza doesn’t stick to the surface.
-Put EssieSpice Coco-For-Garlic Sauce on the pizza and spread it all over to get a thin layer on the entire pizza.
-Place pizza on the grill and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes.
-Place the rest of the toppings on the pizza and close grill for another 4-5 minutes to allow the crust to cook through and the mozzarella to melt. At the half mark, check your pizza as it is hard to gauge how much charcoal you have.
-If using an oven follow the instructions above placing the pizza crust on an oiled sheet pan.
