What is Julie’s Beet?

Julie’s Beet is a marketplace of the finest artisanal products from around the world.  Our goal is to present you with a well curated selection of products which are sure to please every palate.  Every one of our artisans tells a story through their work and their products.  We are here to share their stories and write the next chapter by making their products available on a larger scale.

Who runs Julie’s Beet?

Julie’s Beet was founded by Julie Rosenberg in 2015. Julie grew up in the Midwest in a family that loved to eat and cook!  She followed her passion for cooking and food through culinary school and eventually landed in NYC.  Julie gained valuable experience working for some of the best chefs and restauranteurs including Daniel Boulud, Danny Meyer and Thomas Keller.  After spending time in the kitchen and the dining room Julie realized she not only loves eating and cooking but also sharing these passions with others.  She created Julie’s Beet as a way to continue to sharing these loves with a larger audience.

How do you select your products?

Each product on our site has been carefully selected for your enjoyment. After many years in the food business, Julie has a lot of friends who are making fantastic products.  While many of our artisans start out as friends, it is still important to hear the story about the creation of their products.  We are usually hooked at this point but always taste their products to confirm we’ve discovered one of hidden gems of the food world.

How are items shipped?

Orders can be placed online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Processing may require up to 3-5 days before your order is shipped. Items are shipped Monday – Friday with the exception of major holidays.

Some of our items are temperature sensitive.  Depending up on the time of year these items may require special packaging and/or expedited shipping.  There will be an additional shipping charge associated with these orders.  We will always contact you before proceeding with a shipment of this variety.

Additionally, there will be a surcharge for items shipped to Hawaii and Alaska.

Do you ship internationally?

How do I return an item?

At Julie’s Beet, we believe in selling only the highest quality products. Each order is packed with care and each shipment is inspected before it is sent.  All sales are final, there will be no refunds or exchanges.

We also believe in great customer service. While we do everything in our control to ensure safe delivery of your shipment, we do understand that once an order is shipped it is out of our control. If your order is damaged or not quite right, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@juliesbeet.com or 917.951.6527. We will work with you to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We cannot accept any open or used products.

Do you create custom gift boxes?

Absolutely, please contact hello@juliesbeet.com with your request.

Is it possible to add a gift message to my order?

Of course, we will gladly include a hand-written gift message with your order. Simply type in your message in the special instructions box at check out.
