Grilled Hamburgers with La Boîte Pierre Poirve Pepper Blend

Makes 4 servings


1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons La Boîte Pierre Poirve Pepper Blend

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil cooking spray

1 beef steak tomato

4 oz baby spinach

1 small red onion, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 ripe avocado, sliced

4 slices aged cheddar cheese(optional)

4 hamburger buns


-Combine ground beef and La Boîte Pierre Poirve Pepper Blend with salt in a large bowl.  Form mixture into 4 patties.  Make a dimple in the center of the patty to help with even cooking. Toss sliced red onion with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

-Heat your grill or grill pan with high heat!  Once your grill is hot, coat with cooking spray to prevent the burgers from sticking. 

-Cook burgers 3-4 minutes per side for Medium doneness. Add cheese to the burgers for the last minute on the grill.

-Remove burgers from the grill and let rest. Add the sliced red onion to the grill and cook for 5-10 minutes per side or until they are soft.  Toast the buns over the grill for added flavor. 

-To build the burger, start on the bottom with your bun, add a few pieces of spinach, the burger, avocado slices, grilled red onion, more spinach leaves, and finish with the top bun.
