Summer Berry Sangria with Paper & Tea Berry Pomp Tea

Serves 6


6 Paper & Tea Berry Pomp tea bags

½ c granulated sugar

1 750ml bottle of Red Moscato, or other sweet wine

1 c vodka

2 c pomegranate juice

2 lbs fresh berries, washed, like strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries


-Make sweet tea by adding 4 c water and ½ c granulated sugar to a medium saucepan. Over medium heat, bring to a boil, cooking until all of the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and place Paper & Tea tea bags into the hot liquid, allow to steep for at least 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and allow mixture to cool completely, then add 4 c of cold water.

-In the meantime, wash and cut fruit.

-In a large container or pitcher, add tea, wine, vodka, pomegranate juice, and berries. Stir to combine. Allow to sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

-To serve, add ice to a glass and pour over sangria. Garnish with a spoonful of berries.

If looking for a fizzy drink, top off with club soda or lemon-lime soda.
